The Rockford Police Department announced that there will be no left turn into the Hard Rock Casino parking lot from the E. State and I-90 exit ramp.
NO LEFT TURN INTO ROCKFORD’S HARD ROCK CASINO PARKING LOT
If you’re planning on visiting the casino this weekend, or at all, please be advised you won’t be allowed to turn left into the parking lot. You must turn South on Lyford if you are entering from the Westbound lanes.
Police, fire, and city officials are trying to make traffic flow as smoothly as possible as we all know the venue will be very busy over the next few days for the Grand Opening and all the concerts; Akon, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, and Brad Paisley!
Personally, I’d carpool with anyone and everyone you know to save time. The parking situation is going to be insane.
“The Hard Rock Casino is the culmination of years of effort to bring a casino to the city, following Gov. JB Pritzker’s signing of the Rebuild Illinois Act in June 2019.” [msn]
Have fun, win big, and don’t gamble all your money away! Gotta save room for all the delicious restaurants inside the 189,000-square-foot casino. It has over 1,300 slot machines, 44 table games, a Hard Rock Café, Hard Rock Live concert venue, several restaurants, and shops throughout!
