One of the Highest Rated Restaurants in Illinois is Right Here in Rockford

Over the last few weeks I've presented you with a bunch of lists that included some of Rockford's top rated coffee shops, retail stores and restaurants; and looking back at those lists, I think I owe you an apology. Maybe it's because I've never been here, but there's one restaurant in Rockford that made Only in Illinois' list of the "10 Highest Rated Restaurants in Illinios."

According to "a bunch of ranking websites", Rockford's own Abreo is one of the top restaurants in Illinois; coming in at number 5.

Way to go, Rockford. My friends always talk about going to Abreo and when I say, "I still haven't been there," they just rave about the place....and the duck nachos. Duck nachos?
