Our New Teacher of the Week Impresses Her Co-workers Each Day with Her Commitment to the Kids
Congratulations to the newest 97ZOK Teacher of the Week, Ms. Katrina from Summerdale Early Childhood Center.
Ms. Katrina is our brand new teacher of the week and so of course we had to surprise her at school with a bunch of goodies!
She wins beautiful flowers from Broadway Florist, a delicious Bundt cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes and a chance to decorate her classroom for the rest of the year from Oriental Trading Company.
Her co-worker, Sue Guitterez, sent in the nomination. Sue writes:
Katrina goes above & beyond for our kids & families. I am her para. I have never seen a teacher put so much thought & work into her profession as she does. She calls parents, she plans parties, and she keeps in touch with previous students & parents. She has so much patience.
We are at an Early Childhood Center. The kids in our classroom are 4 going on 5 & they will be going to kindergarten next school year. At night she will text me with an idea for the next day, on the weekends she will message me about the lesson plan, she will call me when something comes to mind. This woman has our kids & school on her brain 24/7. There is so much more I could tell you...she is not only a great teacher, she is also a great friend.
