School is officially back in session for the 2026-2027 school year, and that means one of our favorite traditions is back, too!  97ZOK wants to surprise your teachers in their classrooms for Teacher of the Week!

Because let's be honest... teachers deserve WAY more credit than they get.  They teach all day, stay late after school, lesson plan, and still find a way to make a difference in their students' lives without getting burnt out.

So, know a Stateline teacher who deserves some recognition?

Maybe they're going above and beyond in their classroom, helped your child gain confidence, made learning fun, or were there for them when they needed someone.  Or maybe YOU had a teacher who was incredible and still deserves a little love.

Being a teacher is a huge responsibility. It can be very stressful, and sometimes that depends on the district where the teacher is employed. There are actually some states that are not that great for teachers.

Wallethub put together a list of the best and worst states for teachers. They look at things like opportunities for employment, competition, academics and work environments.
