A local animal rescue is asking the community for their help. According to the Paws Humane Society, two people were caught on tape breaking into cages Sunday.

They are now asking the public for information regarding the two individuals. They say to reach out on Facebook or through its hotline 815-299-7297. The people captured on video were seen breaking into cages holding cats. The Humane Society says it doesn't know what the intent is, but it's happened more than once.

None of the cats were harmed but they were found outside of their cages. Paws said they're filing a police report this morning.
