One of my very favorite co-workers is getting married next month and as a professional bridesmaid and self-proclaimed party planner, I pretty much took over the bridal shower we threw her.

I knew what decorations to buy, I decided on desserts and candy and all those things, but I was stumped when it came to figuring out a game to play.

Sure you don't always need a game at a shower, but that's because it's generally a lot of relatives or friends who need to catch up and gossip. Well, we were at work and we see enough of each other over here, not need to chit chat, we needed a game, and we needed a game that boys could play, too.

That pretty much nixed most of the games I've ever played at bridal showers before, I mean it would be fun, but most men do not want to decorate themselves in toilet paper to look like a bride.

I googled and Pinterested and googled and Pinterested and didn't see anything labeled "work" shower games so I kind of had to figure this one out myself.

The game doesn't really have a name, but we can call it the "age game."

Here is what you do. Find ten pictures of the bride-to-be. You can do what I did and creep on her Facebook page and print them off, or you could actually ask her for them.

Make sure the pictures are from very different times in her life and print them out. That's basically the entire game. I mounted the pictures on cardstock and put them up on our giant wishy washy board in the conference room.

Then when everyone comes to the party, you hand out paper so they can guy the bride's age in each of the pictures. You then let the bride-to-be grade everyone's papers. Make sure you have prizes too!

It got a little competitive over here. We even had to pretend fire someone because he guessed way too old.

This would also be a great game for a big birthday party at work, a baby shower, a work anniversary, whatever the occasion, it's a perfect way to celebrate someone and get a bunch of laughs, too.
