Powdered Alcohol?

I'm in shock this morning that powdered alcohol has been approved by the U.S. Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade bureau! Even though i'm in awe, I'm very curious about this new concoction.

A company called Palcohol has figured out how to turn vodka, rum, cosmopolitans,  kamikazes, mojitos and margaritas into powder...all you have to do is add water! Literally shake and pour!  How easy! I think I could handle this!

The company also says that you can snort this powder and that you can get drunk instantly because the alcohol will be absorbed very quickly.  I guess that's handy for someone who wants to get the party started...NOW!

This is happening, for real..we'll start seeing it on shelves this fall, but I have a feeling it won't be around for long. Either, everyone will be on the powder bandwagon, and it'll be sold out, or it won't stay legal for long.
