If you said yes to any of the above and you can carry a decent tune, you might want to call in sick on Monday and hit the road to Chicago to audition for the Broadway and National Touring Companies of WICKED!
In the twenty years that my mom has been a WICKED superfan, I've never seen a casting call posted to actually audition for the show, this is pretty incredible.
The auditions are being held at Ballet Chicago on North State Street from 10:30 am until 1:30pm. They are asking that you don't arrive before 10am, but letting you know that if you show up after 1:30pm you won't be considered.
Not only are they auditioning for the ensemble/background singers, they're also auditioning for principal roles! You could be Elphaba!
Prep this weekend with 16 bars of a contemporary musical theatre song (a cappella) and print a photo and resume to bring with you.
