The more I see cool stuff made with 3-D printers, the more I want one. This story touched my heart so deeply I had to fight back tears.

My heart is probably still too tender to see dogs struggling after having to put the first dog I've ever owned to sleep just a couple weeks ago.

Meet Mr. Tumbles (might not be the best name for a dog that only has 2 legs), he's just a 2-week-old puppy. Someone found him in Athens, Ohio, he'd apparently been abandoned by his mother after being born with only two legs. An animal shelter took him in and according to them, other than his birth defect he's just fine.

Tumbles can only move around by scooting on his stomach.

So researchers at Ohio University used their 3-D printer last week, to make a tiny wheelchair. Obviously he'll grow out of it at some point and need another one.

According to the shelter, it'll be a while before someone can take him home. But apparently people are already lining up to adopt him.
