We may only be at the end of August, but the Old Farmer's Almanac is already predicting our 2018 winter.

If last winter you wanted to hibernate for months, you're in luck. This winter, we're not expecting quite an awful time.

According to NBC Chicago we are in for a milder winter in the Chicagoland area this year, which includes Rockford.

Not only are we in for a milder winter in the Midwest, it's the entire country who is expected to be warmer than average at the end of the year and the beginning of 2019.

While it is going to be warmer, it's also going to be wetter, which honestly is pretty gross. Wet winter? I am not a fan.

This is all speculation of course, so like, we'll wait and see if it's snowing again next April.
