NEW IN THEATERS

The second film in your four-movie Divergent trilogy picks up with Shailene Woodley hiding out with the farmers of the Amity faction while coming to terms with the death of her parents. Kate Winslet gets her hands on an artifact from the founders of the faction system. She hopes it will solve her divergent problem, but only a divergent can open it. Theo James, Zoe Kravitz, Miles Teller, and Ansel Elgort are all back from the first movie. And Naomi Watts joins the cast as a rebel leader among the factionless.

Sean Penn tries his hand at being an elderly action star in this new movie from the guy who directed Taken. He's playing a former special ops agent who's targeted because of an earlier mission where he took out a corrupt politician. Javier Bardem is the villain. The movie's not getting very good reviews. And even though Idris Elba is shown prominently in the trailer, Forbes Magazine describes his role as little more than a cameo.

Al Pacino plays a singer who decides to make changes in his life after he receives a letter about his music from John Lennon. Bobby Cannavale plays the abandoned son he tries to reconnect with and Jennifer Garner is Bobby's wife.
