Normally I wouldn't condone relieving frustrations by throwing and smashing things, but it's 2020, and we need it.

Thankfully, the Discovery Center is giving the perfect chance to do that this weekend, and 2020 actually hasn't forced it to be cancelled!

What am I talking about exactly? Discovery Center Museum's "Smashing Pumpkins" event happening on Sunday, November 8th!

According to the Discover Center's websitethere will be two indoor sessions on November 8; 10 a.m. to Noon and 1 to 3 p.m., and outdoor sessions at 11, 11:30, 12, 12:30, 1 and 1:30 p.m. where families can "explore ways to smash and crack, split and pitch your pumpkins using Newton's Laws of Motion and simple machines".

If your family would like to participate in both the indoor and outdoor sessions at the museum it will cost $9 per person, (kids 1 year and younger and museum members are free), if you want to do the outdoor session only it is $3 per person.

Face masks will be required for both the indoor and outdoor sessions, and making reservations in advance, especially if you plan on going inside the museum, can be done now here.

Now the only question I have left is, how am I going to keep my jack-o-lanterns from completely disintegrating so I can see them actually fly through the air this Sunday? Is it too late to spray them with bleach water? Guess I'll try it and see...
