I'm pretty sure the majority of Rockford IceHogs fans have prepared themselves for the following announcement, but it still sucks... The remainder of the 2019-2020 American Hockey League season and the 2020 Calder Cup Playoffs has been cancelled.

I know for a fact that the entire IceHogs and BMO Harris Bank Center team have been doing their darndest to avoid an announcement like this, but to keep their fans and players safe, it is truly the only option they have.

According to a statement at icehogs.com, this cancellation effects games originally scheduled for:

  • Wednesday, March 18 vs. Milwaukee
  • Saturday, March 21 vs. Iowa
  • Tuesday, March 24 vs. Texas
  • Sunday, March 29 vs. Chicago
  • Friday, April 3 vs. Chicago
  • Saturday, April 11 vs. Iowa

So, what do we do now with the tickets we have for these games that we been holding on to and hoping for the best?

The Rockford IceHogs will be contacting season ticket holders in the next couple weeks with four different reimbursement options to choose from.

Individual game tickets will be refunded by Ticketmaster to the original card they were purchased on, but refunds may take up to 60 days according to icehogs.com.

If you have free ticket vouchers that have not yet been redeemed, those vouchers will be honored for the first 6 games of the 2020/2021 season, (except opening night).

Answers to any other ticket questions can be found here, you can call the BMO Harris Bank Center at 815-968-5222, or email them at  boxoffice@thebmoharrisbankcenter.com.
