Rockford and the Rest of Mankind Could Be Destroyed Sooner than Thought

Ah, nature, while it can be incredibly breathtaking and serene; it can also be dangerous and devastating.

It really is hard to wrap your brain around how something as beautiful as mountains, a forest, or the seas could bury you, destroy you or swallow you whole.

I'm not trying to scare you, it's just something I started to think about as I was reading this story that sounds like the plot for a Michael Bay movie.

According to USA Today, there's a super volcano that lies beneath the Old Faithful Geyser at Yellowstone Park that could blow a lot sooner than they thought; and if it erupts? Well, sharply put- it could destroy all of mankind.

It sounds like we're safe, for now.

More research is being done before a definite conclusion can be made on if and when this thing will blow.
