Rockford Area Singer’s ‘Idol’ Run Ends

For Gina Venier, the end of her American Idol run could be the beginning of something much bigger.

Last night's episode of "American Idol" proved to be Venier's final episode on the show as the Top 24 were announced and unfortunately she didn't make the cut.

According to Sauk Valley, Venier said she was “thankful for the opportunity that American Idol gave me this season, and more thankful to those who followed along in support of the journey.”
