Rockford Art Museum Reopens With Homecoming Gala Celebration

The Rockford Art Museum has been closed for renovations but they are reopening with a huge gala next month.

We love a good celebration! Especially when one of our favorite spots in downtown Rockford is finally reopening.

Of course, I'm talking about the Rockford Art Museum! The museum has been closed since late last year and the time has finally come for us to step back inside the museum. Sounds like a great reason for a party, right?

The Rockford Art Museum is hosting a 'Homecoming' Gala on Saturday November 9 to celebrate the museum's return, complete with a pep rally and crowning of a Homecoming King and Queen!

Saturday, November 9th
Pep Rally (additional ticket required) | 6-7 PM
Doors Open | 7 PM
Homecoming King + Queen Announced | 9:30 PM
Rockford Art Museum | 711 N Main St. Rockford | Cocktail Attire

There will be live music by 'Too Deep,' food and open bar provided by 'Abreo,' and that Pep Rally which gives you a private look inside their first exhibition champagne!

I know you're wondering... how do you get named Homecoming King and Queen? When you buy your ticket you can nominate someone to the Homecoming court and the top five men and women nominated will be announced as part of the court during the night.
