Rockford Bowling Alley Shows Employee Appreciation In The Sweetest Way
You know what I love the most about social media? There are so many opportunities for anybody to use their platform in a very positive way - just like this one Rockford bowling alley did.
I bowled for 7 years from middle school into high school and spent a lot of my time in bowling alleys, one specifically being Don Carter Lanes. Over the years, you really meet so many amazing people who became familiar faces and the staff becomes family. If you've ever bowled here, you'll know who this wonderful staff member is!
She just got recognized by Don Carter Lanes for being a long time employee - Patti Dole. The bowling alley posted the SWEETEST message about Miss Patti working there for 38 years and almost 900 people liked it.
We know we all love to see ourselves get the spotlight every once in a while, it feels good to know your hard work doesn't go unnoticed.
The amount of love on this post is so heartwarming!
"38 years ago today this special lady right here Miss Patti Dole started as a volunteer coach taking care of the bumper bowlers in the DCL cookies and milk bumper bowling league. Over the years as a DCL team member, youth league director and USBC Board member she has helped the Rockford area become one of the strongest youth bowling communities in the country.
She is simply amazing and our bowling community is lucky to have her. Her great efforts promoting youth bowling, her smile and her kindness has positively impacted thousands of area bowlers. Thank You Miss Patti, we all love you."
It's amazing to see so many people in the Rockford community and beyond know, and appreciate, Miss Patty just as much as the staff. I know she helped me pretty much every time I'd book a lane and never failed to lose her smile!
Like Don Carter Lanes said,
"She is simply amazing and our bowling community is lucky to have her."
Again, I love seeing posts like these. Not enough businesses recognize their team on and off the internet! Shoutout to Don Carter Lanes for the kind post and congrats to Miss Patti Dole for 38 years!
