Rockford Brewery Launches Limited Release Beer Batches this Fall

If you've lived in Rockford, you know what I mean. That small town/big city blend that allows us to have some of the best food and drink in the Midwest but everyone knows your name.

One of the most popular restaurants in Rockford is right on the river, I'm sure you've been there, Prairie Street Brewing Co.

Whether you've been there for dinner, for a drink on the dock or an event, you know their menu is pretty great and the food is super seasonal.

Starting this October, their beer menu will be extra seasonal too!

Prairie Street's Facebook page made the announcement today (September 25) that on Wednesdays for the next six months they will release a experimental or fan favorite beer variety. Sounds fun!

They shared a tentative schedule in the post, taking us from launch day (10/2) until Wednesday November 6.

10/2 - Den of the Dark Shadows Imperial Stout aged in Cody Road Bourbon Barrels (on draft and bottled!)

10/9 - Brewer Shawn's Limited Release IPA

10/16 - Pumpkin Ale and the return of Nikolob

10/23 - Brewmaster Steve's Limited Release IPA and the return of Vanilla River

10/30 - Smoked Amber Ale and Munich Dunkel

11/6 - Christmas Ale (bottles only!)
