Right now, the buffet scene feels pretty limited around Rockford.  You've got a couple of solid go-to, sure... but when you really think about it, the variety just isn't like it used to be.  I have a brilliant idea: get rid of a couple car washes and slots places and let's add a few extra buffets!

That's not even just me talking, it's like half of us around here.

I remember when I was a kid and my parents would bring us every weekend to Hometown Buffet.  Now you drive by and it's a furniture store.. makes me cry every time I pass it.  A lot of my core memories come from Hometown Buffet, especially when it was time for dessert!  The ice cream machines had a swirly option, and it was the best ice cream, ever.  Well, so I thought as a kid haha.

Having more buffets would be so appealing for large groups, families, friend groups, etc. because it gives everyone options on what they really want to eat instead of having to pick one single meal.  Rockford already has a great food scene, why not make it stronger?!  I don't think anyone would be mad about it, honestly.
