Rockford's Festival of Lights 33rd Annual Lightshow

Starting Friday, November 25th from 5-11pm, you'll be able to ride through endless light displays and listen to Christmas music while you enjoy the show!

"This FREE event has become a state-line family tradition since 1989. Founded by Mr. Fourth of July, Joe Marino, and The Rockford Park Districts, John Peterson, FOL began with just 11 displays and has now grown to over 85 displays!" - FOL

There are tons of sponsors who will be featured along the route; Johnny Pamcakes, Eyewitness News, BMO Harris Bank, and Collins Aerospace.

The "Welcome to Christmas in Rockford, Illinois" sign is one of my favorites!

Some sneak peeks are already posted to social media so you can get a glimpse of this magical light experience before you go.  A twinkly light show? Yes, yes, yes!

Santa will be making an appearance on certain dates, as well; November 25th - 27th, December 2nd - 4th, 9th - 11th, and 16th - 18th.

Your kiddos can wave to Santa as you roll through the park!

The Snow Queen from Ice Castle Dreams will make her appearance December 1st, 8th, 15th, 19th-23rd from 6pm - 8pm.  Don't miss out on seeing her!

Rockford's Festival of Lights is located at 1401 N. 2nd St.  Begins Friday, November 25th - New Years Eve.  Times vary per day, check the schedule for details!  It's free to visit, but donations are always encouraged!

Don't forget Nicholas Conservatory's "All Aglow" Lightshow happening across the street, too.  Two fun events in one - a super fun night!
