Rockford Fire Department Pulls Off Two Duckling Rescues In One Day

Just because buildings aren't on fire, that doesn't mean that the Rockford Fire Department is just sitting around.

On two separate occasions yesterday, firefighters went on rescue missions to save ducklings.

Based on the pictures shared by the Rockford Fire Department Facebook, captioned "‪Congratulations to Engine 10 on two separate successful duckling rescues today!", ‬it looks like firefighters removed sewer caps to save the baby ducks.

Congrats to the brave men and women at the Rockford Fire Department. The pictures of the rescues garnered nearly 300 likes so far on their page.
