The Saturday, (March 31), will be the Rockford IceHogs' 19th annual Jersey auction night at the BMO Harris Bank Center, but there are a couple things that make this year's event more special than the ones before it.

First off, 3-time Stanley Cup Champion, former IceHog and Chicago Blackhawk, Bryan Bickell will be in house for Saturday night's game because proceeds from this year's  Icehogs' Jersey auction will benefit the Bryan & Amanda Bickell Foundation and the Greater Illinois Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society.

Secondly, this year's Jersey Auction will have a Hawaiian theme featuring tropical IceHogs jerseys, a luau complete with live beach music and hula dancers, plus a pig roast and even stenciled hibiscus flowers throughout the ice. Best part of the flowers being painted on the ice? Not only do they look awesome, but it is the first time a team in the American Hockey League has played on stenciled ice.

Saturday night's game against the San Jose Barracuda begins at 6 p.m., and the Jersey Auction will begin on-ice immediately following the game.

Better get your tickets now; it's sure to be a packed house!
