If you found the headline "Rockford Parents Are Mad AF about this Cherryvale Mall Store Sign" a tad inappropriate or even slightly offensive, then a sign spotted at the ICING store in the CherryVale Mall is really going to push you over the edge.

Especially if you take your kids there for ear piercing and sparkly, must-have accessories.

According to WREX, the mall has asked the store to take this sign down, which says "Fresh AF", after getting several complaints from shoppers; it was expected to be removed on Tuesday.

Calls were made to the store for comment but they were not returned.

But, I'm curious to hear your comments. Is this sign really that offensive? Are parents overreacting and if they are, what is it that they're overreacting to? Is it having to explain what AF means? Is it because their kids already know what it means? If my daughter was say, 10 years old, I don't think I'd want her referring to herself as being "fresh AF" but AF is simply an annoying term that kids use these days. Adults use it everyday, too.

I say, if you don't like the sign, just don't buy anything from there. Or maybe just remove the AF. I'm willing to bet that there are more people who don't know what AF means than there are people who do.
