Rockford Rescue Mission Has Immediate Need For Basic Donation Items
The Rockford Rescue Mission needs your help stocking shelves with basic items as soon as possible.
The Rockford Rescue Mission does a great job providing a safe place for pretty much anyone in need to visit.
In case you're not familiar with the Rockford Rescue Mission, their mission statement is summed up in three points on their website.
● RESCUE through crisis services like food, shelter and clothing – supporting people’s most immediate and basic needs
● RENEWAL through comprehensive life recovery programs – including art and music therapy, life-skills classes and employment training
● RESTORATION through returning men and women to our community – and to their families, friends and employers – healed and whole through God’s love
So obviously they need some things from the public to make all of this greatness happen.
Yesterday they shared on Facebook that they're very much in need of toilet paper and laundry detergent.
They're asking for donations today and tomorrow from 8 in the morning until 4:30 in the afternoon.
