Alright, I've had enough and I'm totally over this creepy clown business. For days, on Facebook, frantic parents have been sharing stories and their frustations with this ongoing trend that has found it's way to the Stateline.

Thankfully, according to WIFR and other local news sources, all reports of clowns have been unfounded at this time and many of the Facebook pages that have been created to scare our kids have been taken down.

There is one Facebook page, however, that is still up and already has close to 1,200 followers. Rockford Clown Reports was created to spread awareness; not fear.   Below I've shared some examples of what you can expect from the page. Vigilant parents are sharing their experiences and the sources of where some threats, unfounded or not, are coming from.

To be clear, the admin of the page states that these are more than likely just rumors, but they are being treated as real threats just as the police would; they've mentioned that on their page.
Should you find it necessary, please give the page a like and be sure to report anything that you see or hear on social media so others can be aware of any creepy clown threats in their area.
