See Chicago’s Buckingham Fountain Switched On For Summer

Chicago's Buckingham Fountain being switched on is quite a spectacle. I don't visit Chicago during Spring or Summer without spending time there.

On Sunday (5/6) Buckingham Fountain was switched on for the warm seasons. Legendary WGN meteorologist Tom Skilling was on hand for the ceremony.

I still remember the first time I saw this fountain at night. Absolutely stunning. The first time I took my daughter to see the fountain at night, she just stood in silence for almost five minutes, with her 4-year-old mouth just hanging open.
