It's official: Selena Gomez will perform at the 2019 American Music Awards.

The singer, who just dropped back-to-back breakup songs, is expected to hit the stage at this year's awards show later this month, marking her first television performance in two years. She'll join best friend Taylor Swift, who has been nominated for multiple awards (including the Decade Award) and is set to perform as well.

The official Billboard Twitter account first teased Gomez performance on Twitter on Thursday (October 31), tweeting a photo of the dates 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2019, which fans immaturely figured out was the pop star.

Then, early Friday morning (November 1), the AMAs confirmed the news, writing, "The world television premiere of @selenagomez's new music is happening LIVE at the #AMAs on Nov. 24th!"

Though it's unconfirmed, fans can expect Gomez to sing one of her two singles, "Lose You to Love Me" or "Look at Her Now," which are both widely believed to be about ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.

Gomez has come a very long way since her last few appearances at the awards show. In 2017, she delivered an emotional performance of "Wolves" after taking a brief health-related hiatus following her kidney transplant.

Then, in 2016, she took the stage after winning the award for Favorite Female Artist to address her personal struggles and reveal why it led her to step away from the spotlight.

“I had to stop because I had everything and I was absolutely broken inside," Gomez explained as she choked back her tears during her heartfelt acceptance speech. "I kept it all together enough to where I would never let you down but I kept it too much together to where I let myself down."

"I don’t want to see your bodies on Instagram. I want to see what’s in here [holds chest]," she continued. "I’m not trying to get validation nor do I need it anymore. All I can say from the bottom of my heart is I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to be able to share what I love every single day with people that I love. I have to say thank you so much to my fans because you guys are so damn loyal and I don’t know what I did to deserve you."

"If you are broken you do not have to stay broken," she added." If that’s anything whether you respect me or not that’s one thing you should know about me. I care about people. Thank you so much for this. This is for you.”

The 2019 American Music Awards air Sunday, November 24 at 8 PM on ABC.
