So this is Why Mila Kunis Threw Out the First Pitch at a Cubs Game
In case you missed it, Dodger fan, Mila Kunis, threw out the first ceremonial pitch at the Cubs game last Friday, April 15th.
Upon hearing the news, I was a bit perplexed and a little annoyed because I didn't understand why she was chosen, given her "history" of rooting against the World Series champs and all. Well, now we know why.
According to PR Newswire, Jim Beam, the official bourbon of the Chicago Cubs, has released a limited edition "Game 7 Batch" and as their global partner, Mila had the honor of not only throwing out the first pitch at Friday's game, she made appearances at three iconic Wrigleyville bars and surprised Cubs fans with samples of the product.
No word on whether or not she became a Cubs fan but it's not a coincidence that the team just happened to get swept by the Pirates the weekend she was in town.
Should the losing streak continue, you might just have to bust open one of those bottles of Jim Beam; the "Game 7 Batch" will be available for purchase in Chicagoland retailers this June.
