Starbucks Releases Christmas Tree Flavored Latte
I think I am the only person on the planet who doesn't like the smell of evergreen aka the smell of Christmas. I've never felt like I was missing out by having a fake tree in our house for my entire life, simply because I hate the smell of real trees. As we all know Starbucks is the best at putting Christmas/Fall/Summer/Whatever you love in a cup.
Have they gone too far this time? Well, in my opinion, yes. However, if you love evergreen like most people do, then you'll want to try the latte before time runs out. Of course it's not being advertised as a Christmas tree flavored drink but rather the "Juniper Latte". According to Bustle -
Although you may not be used to hearing the word "juniper" as a descriptor, the berries are tart, almost pine-y in flavor, and have a citrusy after taste — hence why so many people associate it with the smell or "taste" of trees. The Starbucks Juniper Latte takes on these flavors with a juniper syrup blended with espresso and steamed milk, which is then topped with foam and a dusting of pine-citrus sugar to bring out the wintry flavors.
