Stroll on State will return to Rockford for a third consecutive year along with some brand new activities.

Stroll on State has collectively drawn over 100,000 people since it began in 2013. This year, Stroll on State is set for November 28 from 3-9 p.m.

What's new at this year's Stroll on State? A "Plan Your Stroll" app for starters. The app is available on the Go Rockford website, and can be used on smart phones, tablets and desktop computers.

Using the app will help you better navigate your way through the crowds in order to find the attractions that you want to see.

Then there's the River Lights attraction. The team at Stroll on State is working with Luxe Productions to create a laser light show with music that will light up the banks of the Rock River.

That's not all, there will be indoor skating this year along with your chance to meet the big man in red at the outdoor SantaLand and so much more.

Stroll on State is free and open to the public.
