Parent Uses 2 Powerful Words To Praise Roscoe Kindergarten Teacher
Two words that would make any teacher feel amazing were used to nominate 97ZOK's latest Teacher of the Week, Julie Wiest, from Ledgewood Elementary in Roscoe, IL.
97ZOK Teacher of the Week
Congratulations to Julie Wiest from Ledgewood Elementary School (Stone Creek Elementary School) in Roscoe, Illinois.
Julie Brees nominated Mrs. Wiest, she writes,
Mrs. Wiest has always gone above and beyond. My son had her six years ago and when I found out my daughter would have her for kindergarten we were SO happy! She is the definition of a teacher who cares and loves her students like her own. She helps students in areas they need help, is observant of each child, and is always in communication with parents daily. She has a Facebook page for her class where she posts daily updates, birthday pictures of each child on their birthday, school activity pictures of the kids, and keeps in contact with parents daily also through our parent app.
Talking to other parents not every parent is as lucky to have a teacher who’s so involved with the kids and parents and it is incredibly meaningful as a parent. All of the regular communication helps parents feel involved and know how their child’s day is every day. I’m SO thankful for Mrs. Wiest. I can only wish for a teacher like her every year for my kids!
In the middle of her classroom of 'counting to 100' chaos, you can hear how special those 2 words, LUCKY and THANKFUL, made her feel.
