Teacher of the Week: Mrs. Corinne Iven From Holy Family Catholic School
Congrats to the latest 97ZOK Teacher of the Week Mrs. Corrine Iven from Holy Family Catholic School.
Corrine was nominated by parent Jacalyn Banks -
I’m nominating Mrs. Corinne Iven for teacher of the week for so many reasons. Mrs. Iven has been teaching for many years. She loves pre-schoolers, and it shows from the moment you walk into her classroom. She is patient, warm, kind, and fun and is always willing to be available to talk about a student with their parents, day or night. As a working mother, it means the world to me that she reaches out to me at night when I am able to talk to her, not just in passing at school. Mrs. Iven does such an amazing job teaching her preschoolers about the Bible and about every day virtues at school. She is so deserving of this award and her dedication to preschoolers for so many years proves that she truly loves what she does and it shows from the moment you meet her. My son cannot wait to go to school on Monday mornings. He is excited about learning and it is my hope that this excitement and enthusiasm will continue on through his years at Holy Family.
Mrs. Iven has taught my son to love learning and I feel that there is really no greater way to measure a teachers success that that! I want to thank Mrs. Iven for being so wonderful with all her students and for touching so many lives and little hearts at Holy Family. I feel truly blessed my son can call her his teacher this year.
Corinne won flowers from Broadway Florist, a cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes and a gift certificate from Oriental Trading Company.
