The Ouija Board and Bloody Mary are so 2014.

I'm don't consider myself to be a religious person by any means but for as long as I can remember, I have always made it a point to avoid things like the Ouija Board and games like 'Bloody Mary'; I can't even be in the same room as a Ouija board. Nope. It could've been all the stories I read about in church on Wednesday nights or movies, but I truly believe those kinds of games do open doors for evil spirits and demons to come into our lives.

Which is exactly why I won't be trying the "Charlie Charlie Challenge", not even for research purposes. My son thought it would be fun to make our own video, giving it a try, and I refused. The video that I shared in this post...yeah, I couldn't even watch it but I wanted you to get an idea as to how the game works. This way you'll know what's going on when you walk in on your kids playing the game.

Whoa.

There are legit rules for playing the game, too. For example, if you want the game to be over, you have to chant, "Charlie, Charlie, can we stop?" and drop all the pencils when done so the evil portal that was opened while playing the game won't stay open forever.

Ok, just talking about this gives me the creeps. Like the more I keep talking about it, I won't even need to play the game to summon this Mexican demon.  It's ridiculous, I know.

I'm just going to leave you with this video that explains a little more. Ha.

What do you think? Is the "Charlie Charlie Challenge" real or fake?
