Terminally Ill Rockford Area Teen Wishing For ‘Lots Of Cards’ This Christmas

A Byron area teen who is suffering from a rare and deadly illness, needs your support this holiday.

According to the WIFR Facebook page, 19-year-old Whitney's Fritz's "body is failing but her family says her spirit is strong. They do not expect her to make it to another Christmas."

This is sad and terrible news especially around the holidays. Despite it all, it seems that Whitney does have a positive attitude. Whitney is asking for "lots of cards."
