The First Major Snowstorm Of 2019 Is Going To Hit Rockford This Weekend
It's been about 6 weeks since the last major snow hit Rockford so we're ready, right? Right?
Of course not. There'll be stand up shots of local Rockford television people standing at nearby hardware stores with b-roll of residents rapidly scooping up snow shovels and salt.
So consider yourself warned. Winter is coming to Rockford, like, this weekend.
AccuWeather on Twitter says a "gathering storm system will spread snow from Missouri to Ohio heading into the weekend."
In case you're wondering, Rockford is right in the middle, and we're looking at snow.
How much? AccuWeather says "anywhere from a coating to 6 inches or more of snow may fall."
So who really knows, but do me a favor, buy a snow shovel and salt before the TV crews show up.
