Don't miss your chance to see the cup.

How exciting. I'm not even a huge hockey fan but even I would love to get a photo taken with the Stanley Cup.  The Rockford Ice Hogs are bringing the cup to the BMO Harris Bank Center on November 22nd; it will be on display during their game against the Lake Erie Monsters at 4 p.m.  Even better, if you're one of the first 2,500 people in attendance, you'll get a Blackhawks Stanley Cup poster. Up the ante and get yourself a VIP ticket which gets you great seats, early admission to the game and a guaranteed poster.

Now, if you plan on attending, there is one major thing to remember when you meet the cup. I'm telling you this, in case you weren't aware, like me. There is an unwritten rule when it comes to "The Holy Grail" of trophies - whatever you do, don't touch it.  Only players who've won the cup can have that kind of access. I'm sure you already knew that, but I didn't.  I didn't want to end up like Justin Bieber, who unwittingly stood on the team's logo while taking photos of the cup in the Blackhawk locker room; another big hockey no-no. Nobody wants to be known as the guy...or gal who cursed one of the most loved teams in the U.S.
