The World Is Running Out Of Chocolate

This is not a drill. I repeat, this is not a drill. The world is facing a chocolate shortage.

This holiday season, you're going to want to stock up on as much chocolate as possible.  According to the world's largest chocolate makers we are headed for a global chocolate shortage and we could be out of chocolate by 2020.

How is this even possible? There are a few factors. The biggest cause is disease and drought affecting the cacao plants, but an even bigger factor is humans and our never dieing love for chocolate.

An even more important question is this, is anyone doing anything about it? Well, an agriculture research group in Central Africa is trying their hardest.This group is developing trees that could produce up to seven times the amount of beans than the traditional cocoa trees. Fingers crossed.
