Sometimes you feel like you really need a drink... but do you? Or will a mocktail do the trick? These are five delicious mocktail options in Rockford, Illinois.
Mocktails are having a moment.
In fact, it seems like for the past three or four years, mocktails have been having a moment that just keeps getting bigger and bigger.
Maybe it's because pregnant women are tired of drinking water, or maybe it's because when you take the alcohol out, your risk of hangover goes to zero.

Whatever the reason is, mocktails are a great choice for literally everyone.
It's fun to see restaurants have fun with mocktail recipes, instead of just offering pop, juice or water for non-drinkers at the table, there are some great fancy non-alcoholic drinks available in Rockford.
I'll start with the mocktail that's not exactly on the menu, but I know you can order it, at Woodfire Pizza in downtown Rockford.
Non-alcoholic Margaritas in Rockford
Every summer, my niece Madeline comes to visit me for a weekend and this summer her little sister, Ava, came too. When we got to Woodfire, we always get a mocktail version of their Hibiscus Margarita for Madeline and she loves it. Ava did too!
While that mocktail isn't really on the menu, there are a ton of mocktails that are on the menus in Rockford.

At The Norwegian, you'll find five non-alcoholic cocktails on their brunch menu, the Tost Mimosa, Lingonberry Spritzer, Melon-berry Shrub, Blueberry Pineapple Shrub and the Melon-berry Shortcake.
Social Charcuterie Bar & Cocktails also has a full list of non-alcoholic cocktails on their menu, but their menu is really hard to find online. I promise they have them though, one of my pregnant friends was very excited to stumble across it when we were there for a bachelorette party.
