This is How the People of Rockford Spent Valentine's Day 2016 [PHOTOS]

Happy belated Valentine's Day. From the looks of it, it was a very special day for a lot of you. I, myself, was celebrating my very first Valentine's Day with my boyfriend, Jason. We didn't exchange flowers, gifts or cards; we just spent the day together like we normally would. Weird, right? I guess we didn't really feel the need to because we do a lot for each other every day; not just one day out of the year. (cue the awwwws...or the "puke") It was just a normal weekend filled with a concert, night out with friends, shopping and a 2 mile walk that ended with a mild concussion and whiplash. That's what I get for carrying a 50 pound weighted back pack and winter boots with no traction on the bottom.
