Uh oh... here's another recall.

But wait! This Land O'Frost recall on their lunch meat isn't what you think it's for.

If you're thinking "great what kind of nasty was found in this package of meat? "

You're wrong.

This recall from the lunch meat company is entirely different. It has nothing to do with salmonella, botulism or any other type food borne illness.

Whew!

That's a relief.

This recall has to do with the packaging of one of their lunch meats.

Land O'Frost is recalling their premium black forest ham lunch meat, "approximately 4,944 pounds of ham products, due to misbranding." (yeswecoupon.com)

Yeah, no creepy crawlies are in this lunch meat. The problem is with the ham's packaging. You see "the front of the package is accurately labeled as Black Forest Ham, however the back of the package is incorrectly labeled as Honey Smoked Turkey Breast."

That's it.

Thank God it has nothing to do with getting sick or having to toss it in the trash.

The product in question "the Premium Black Forest Ham products were produced on April 27, 2018."

"1-lb. plastic gas-flushed resealable packages containing a single ham labeled “Land O’Frost PREMIUM Old World Style Black Forest Ham” with Lot 8117D and a sell-by date of August 10, 2018 on the label."

It also has the "establishment number “Est.500K” inside the USDA mark of inspection."

By the way, if you were wondering no one has reported any type of illness or "adverse reactions due to consumption of these products"

Well it's good to know at least the lunch meat is safe to eat, just the packaging is wrong.
