Three Reasons Why Coke Tastes Better At McDonald’s
You thought you knew why McDonald's Coke tasted better there than anywhere else, but now we have the real reason.
According to Hub Pages there isn't just one but three explanations:
- McDonald's Uses Quality Water - The water is filtered twice through a high-end filtration system.
- Cold Water Holds More Carbonation - The water and Coke syrup are pre-chilled because cold water holds carbonation.
- More Soda Sold Means a Fresher Product - They also deliver the syrup to McDonald's in stainless steel tanks keeping it cooler and more fresh.
While I think most of us had an idea why McDonald's Coke tasted better there than anywhere else, the straw is the most eye opening of all discoveries.
McDonald's straws are slightly wider than regular straws. That allows all of the Coca-Cola goodness to hit your taste buds faster than other straws.
So if it's not the water, or the stainless steel tanks or straws, it's gotta be something. Maybe it's magic.
