Thrive Cafe’s Downtown Rockford Location is Closing

The pandemic has hit a lot of businesses hard. From major retailers to local ma & pa shops, pretty much everyone has been affected in one way or another. And we're really sad to have to talk about this closing. But, luckily, it's not "goodbye", it's "see you in your different location"!

Thrive Cafe announced that they will be closing the downtown location. They detailed the news in a Facebook post -

This makes us really sad to hear. But the good news is that this isn't the only Thrive Cafe location. The staff says their Loves Park location off of Perryville will remain open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

There will be some changes in the cafe though. WTVO details -

According to the restaurant’s Facebook post, the head chef is no longer working with them so the kitchen and grill will be temporarily closed.

Staff say they will do their best to provide cold “grab and go” meals and other options.

So like their facebook post said, if you want to stop by this location one last time to say goodbye you can today and Thursday! And if you're a regular at this location, be sure to add a couple extra minutes to your routine to stop by the other location. Supporting local business is more important than ever!
