It's the biggest 12-minute concert in the world. Over 100,000 watching in the stadium and millions watching on TV. These 5 performances were the absolute best.

Ok, I'll fess up. This list isn't 'according to a recent survey' or 'based on a scientific study', they're just the halftime shows I loved the most. And I'll tell you why I loved each one.

#5 - Janet Jackson & Justin Timberlake, 2004

Why I loved this one: Janet Jackson's boob.

#4 - Prince, 2007

Why I loved this one: If you know me, you know Prince is my guy ('my boat'... see Midday Michelle). He already possesses all the gifts God could give a musician and now apparently, like God, he can control the weather. How else can you explain that it's raining while he's performing Purple Rain!

#3 - Bruno Mars, 2014

Why I loved this one: The best part of seeing a concert is the anticipation of what's to come. And you should never miss how the group hits the stage. The children singing at the beginning made you think something with a high 'cute factor' was coming... until they sing the line, "the world better prepare." You could just tell we were about to have our minds blown. Who knew Bruno had such amazing drum chops?!?

#2 - Michael Jackson, 1993

Why I loved this one: Duh! It's Michael Jackson... the greatest performer ever.

#1 - U2, 2002

Why I loved this one:  It's the most watched sporting event in America. And it was only 5 months after the September 11th attacks on our country. What U2 did with this performance brought tears to my eyes. What got to me first were the giant curtains behind them with the names of everyone who died as a result of those attacks. Then when you see what Bono does with his leather jacket at the end... tears flowing!
