According to a recent poll, there are only two states that 50% of the population has donated their time or money are: Utah and Minnesota.
Kentucky and Nevada ranked at the bottom.
Where does Illinois show up? We landed in seventh place.
After a recent report saying half of Illinois residents would move out of the state, it's nice to see Illinois show up on a positive list.
Here are the top ten most charitable states.

- Idaho
- Maine
While more states donated their time and money than others, the Gallup poll reveals that Americans show “impressive figures for their acts of kindness than the rest of the world.”
