Last weekend, Boots Upholstery and In Home Medical Services in Rockford teamed up to begin producing reusable medical masks to distribute to the medical community. They have produced hundreds in the last few days, but now they need our help.

According to mystateline.com, Womanspace in Rockford has joined the initiative to help organize a group of volunteers willing to sew all these medical masks together.

If you can sew or are willing to donate materials, (cotton is best), to help with the production of these medical masks, please register your contact information now here.

A Facebook group called Sewing Masks for the Greater Rockford Area has also been created to provide more information on how you can help.

If sewing isn't your thing, but giving money to help is, a GoFundMe has also been set up for the cause that you can donate to, here.
