This Walmart Hack Might Change How You Shop in Rockford

I saw a Walmart hack on TikTok that sounded like one of those things that would be cool if it actually worked, but probably wouldn't.

Naturally, I hopped on the bandwagon and tried it.

Apparently, if your Walmart has digital price tags, there's a feature in the app that can help you find an item you're looking for.

How to do it:

1. Open the Walmart App
2. Find the item you want
3. Head to that aisle
4. If the store has digital price tags, select "Flash Price Tag"

The digital tag for your item will then light up or flash on the shelf, making it much easier to spot.

You know how it is when you get to an aisle and there are a thousand different products on the shelves.  It's hard to see what's what half the time!  This way, it makes it easy to be in and out in no time.

I tested it out at the Walmart in Belvidere, and I have to admit... I fully expected to try it and discover that it either didn't work or wasn't set up yet.

But it freakin' worked.

I found the item in the Walmart App, stood in the aisle, hit "Flash Price Tag" and watched the digital tag light up right on the shelf.

Apparently, Rockford-area locations are more futuristic than I thought!  Now I'm wondering how many other people already knew about this but were gatekeeping it?!
