Watch How The Peeps Factory Makes 5 Million Of Them Daily
In the 1950s, it took almost 27 hours to make just one Peep Marshmallow Treat by hand. Now, the factory makes over 5 million per day.
Even if you're not a fan the treat synonymous with Easter, watching how the Peep Marshmallow Treats are made is quite mesmerizing. And the production of these treats has come a long way since 1953, when they were manually squeezed from a pastry tube one-by-one. At a production rate of 5.5 million per day, that works out to be 2 billion peeps.
Sometimes watching how things eat are made may make you not want to eat them anymore, I'm not really too worried about that, since I don't like peeps to begin with.
