Who Will You Nominate for ‘Illinoisan of the Day’ for State Fair?

The Illinois State fair is looking for 10 people to to become Illinoisan of the Day. Winners will be honored with their own special day during the State Fair.

Who do you know that is making a huge difference in your community. Someone with a true midwestern spirit of hard work and dedication to serving others. According to wrex.com, the nominee should be involved in service or educational activities, youth programs, agricultural groups and be affiliated with state or county fairs in Illinois. Continued volunteerism and community service is a must. They must also be at least 25 years of age.

The Illinois State Fair is August 12 - 21 and each day will spotlight a different Illinoisan of the Day.
