Chicago's efforts to turn the riverfront into as big an attraction as the shoreline of Lake Michigan just got an enormous boost, and that's no understatement.

The owners of the four-million square foot Merchandise Mart are turning the building's 2.6 acre facade into one giant projection canvas for local artists, according to wgntv.com.

I sure hope this is ready to go by St. Patricks's Day when we all be there to see the river turn green.
