Some are deftly afraid of AI, they think we are this close to living in a world run by Skynet.

If you’ve seen the Terminator franchise of movies you know what I’m talking about. If you don’t, long story short computers tried to take over the world.

At this point, AI is still very new and if you’ve taken a look at some of AI-drawn art you’ll see what I mean.

For example, anything with fingers. I have no idea why AI is so bad at fingers but it’s just a thing.

Anyway, with extreme skepticism I decided to ask AI to “Create what the Chicago skyline will look like 100 years from now.” The result blew my mind.

Not only by how good it looks but how I could see this coming to fruition.

The buildings are bigger but also a bit more run down while also looking a bit futuristic.

The Chicago skyline doesn’t at all resemble something out of The Jetsons but I did have a question about one AI-created photo.

Maybe Chicago officials decided against using that part of town or AI didn’t know what to do with it in the photo. Then again maybe there’s more than just fingers AI has a hard time creating.
